 Manhattan will open up the program's 50th season of intercollegiate soccer at Temple on Friday, August 26 at 4:00 pm in the Owls' newly-minted Temple Sports Complex.

The Returners
Under the tutelege of 2013 MAAC Coach of the Year Jorden Scott, Manhattan returns 20 letterwinners from last year's team, including eight starters.

Leading The Way ...
For the Jaspers is senior Niels Kirch, who notched three goals a year ago, and junior Troy Carrington, who had two goals and two assists.

The New
Manhattan welcomes eight newcomers to the fold in completing the 28-man roster. Click HERE for the full release on the newcomers.

The MAAC
The Jaspers were slated to finish ninth in the annual preseason poll.

For Starters
Manahttan will be looking to snap an 11-match losing streak in season openers, last winning its lidlifter by a 1-0 count against Fordham in 2004.

All-Time Against Temple
The Owls hold a 2-0 advantage in the all-time series, including winning last year's opener in double overtime by a 1-0 count thanks to Jorge Gomez Sanchez's game-winner.

Scouting Temple
The Owls went 10-7-2 a year ago and were led by Gomez Sanchez's team-high 13 goals.

A Victory ...
Would give the Jaspers their first-ever victory against a school from the American Conference.

Did You Know
Manhattan assistant coach Evan Prybutok spent the last five seasons as an assistant for Temple.
