Wappingers Falls, NY - Manhattan (6-14) opens MAAC play against Monmouth (11-11; 3-0 MAAC) with three games at Dutchess Stadium.

Run Of Show
The teams will open the series with a 12:00 pm doubleheader on Saturday, April 2 before playing a single game at 12:00 pm on Monday, April 4.

Start Me Up
Junior LHP Joe Jacques, classmate RHP Joey Rocchietti and sophomore LHP Tom Cosgrove have each gone at least six innings while yielding two earned runs or less in each of their last two starts.

Cosgrove Deals
In Manhattan's 2-0 series-opening win over Lehigh, Cosgrove struck out a career-high nine while not walking a batter in working a personal-best matching 8.0 innings for the second-straight start. The hard-throwing lefty picked up his first win of the year while also not allowing a runner to reach third.

Pena Picks Up No. 3
For the third time this year, freshman Fabian Pena earned MAAC Rookie of the Week honors after hitting .538 (7-for-13) with four doubles, three runs and three walks while batting safely in all four games last week. On the year, the Miami native is hitting .324 while pacing the squad in doubles (9), home runs (2), RBI (16), multi-hit games (8), multi-RBI games (5) and slugging percentage (.527)

Pfenninger Picking It Up
Sophomore Michael Pfenninger is has hit safely in seven-straight games and is batting .385 (10-of-26) with four stolen bases, two RBI and two runs.

Barella/Carrera Heating Up
Freshman Richie Barrella and junior Jose Carrera have each hit safely in four of their last five games.

Santy Keeps Slugging
Senior Christian Santisteban is living up to his MAAC Preseason Player of the Year accolades, hitting a team-best .333 (25-of-75) with 15 runs, six doubles, one home run, 11 RBI, 14 walks and a .440 OBP.

Last Year vs. Monmouth
The Hawks took two-of-three and hold a 4-3 advantage in the series since joining the MAAC for the 2014 season.
