Miami, FL - Thomas Woodrey struck out 10 over 8.0 innings of two-hit ball to lift No. 6 Miami (FL) to a 10-0 win over Manhattan at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field.

The Hurricanes improve to 7-2 while the Jaspers fall to 1-3.

Playing against one of the top teams in the nation, Manhattan could recorded just three hits on the day.

Sophomore Brendan Bisset (New City, NY / Don Bosco Prep (NJ)) singled and drew a walk while senior Christian Santisteban (Miami, FL / Gulliver Prep) and freshman Fabian Pena (Miami, FL / Calusa Prep) each singled.

Freshman LHP Tom Cosgrove (Staten Island, NY / Farrell) struck out four over 5.0 innings in being saddled with the loss.

Brandon Lopez went 3-for-5 with two runs to pace an 18-hit Miami (FL) attack.
