Miami, FL - For the second-straight weekend, the Manhattan Baseball team will head to the Sunshine State, squaring off with 2015 NCAA Regional participant FIU. 

Series Breakdown
The Jaspers will face the Golden Panthers in a four-game set starting on Friday, March 11 at 6:30 pm. The teams will then play a 2:00 pm doubleheader on Saturday, March 12 before concluding the series with a single game on Sunday, March 13 at 1:00 pm.

Last Year
The teams met four times this year with FIU claiming three-of-four. Senior RHP Michael Scarinci struck out three over 5.0 innings of one-hit relief in earning the lone victory for Manhattan.

Santisteban Comes Up Clutch
Preseason MAAC Player of the Year Christian Santisteban crushed a two-run home run to lift the Jaspers to a 6-4 win over NYIT in extra innings on Wednesday.

All Day, Every Day
Santisteban has reached base safely in all eight games this year and is batting .343 with six runs, one home run and seven RBI.

Twice Is Nice
Freshman Fabian Pena was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week this past Tuesday. Pena is batting a team-best .355 (11-of-31) with three doubles, one home run and seven RBI.

The Kandy Man
Junior Shawn Kanwisher struck out a career-high six over 4.0 innings of relief in collecting the win over NYIT and paces the squad with nine strikeouts while limiting opposing hitters to a .185 average over 8.0 innings with a 3.38 ERA.
