Buffalo, NY -
The Manhattan women's swimming & diving team is in eighth place with 131 points after day three of the 2016 MAAC Championships at the Flickinger Center.

Alexandra Hutzler (Miller Place, N.Y. / Miller Place) paced the Jasper effort on the third day of the meet. The sophomore placed fifth in the 100-butterfly in 58.32 before breaking her own school-record in the 100-breast en route to finishing sixth with a mark of 1:07.56. Her split of 31.54 also would have been good enough to set the school-record in the 50-breast.

Freshman Klaudia Nagrabska (Belmont, Mass. / Belmont) also had an impressive showing in the 100-breast, finishing 15th in 1:10.34, after recording a personal-best 1:10.13 in the prelims.

In the 400-IM, freshman Yvonne Corcoran (West Boylston, Mass. / West Boylston) led the way for Manhattan in clocking a personal-best 4:57.57 while classmate Kathryn Voitik (Moscow, Pa. / Scranton) notched a team-best 2:00.02 in the 200 freestyle. Sophomore Audrey Corcoran (West Boylston, Mass. / West Boylston) and senior Michaela Schatz (Tuscan, Ariz. / Salpointe Catholic) also clocked personal-bests with marks of 2:02.81 and 2:05.44, respectively.

In the 1000-free, freshman Abie DeLisio (Woodstock, N.Y. / Kingston) clocked a 10:56.31 in finishing 11th.

Concluding the day's action was the 200-medley relay team of freshman Megan Pagano (LaGrangeville, N.Y. / Arlington), Hutzler, Voitik and junior Sara Buckley (East Setauket, N.Y. / Ward Melville) that placed eighth in 4:10.81.

The Jaspers return to action on Saturday, February 13 at 10:00 am with the 200-back prelims.
