John Dove Finishes 12th at U.S. Junior Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Manhattan College's John Dove (Monroe, N.Y.) took part in the final of the men's 1500 meters at the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships from the University of Oregon's Hayward Field on Saturday night. In very hot conditions, Dove posted a time of 4:07.58 to finish 12^th overall.

He qualified for the final by notching a 4:02.09 clocking in his semifinal heat on Thursday. Dove was the first Jasper to compete at USA Juniors since triple jumper Albert Johnson III in 2009.
