JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The 2015 Manhattan College outdoor track & field season concluded on Saturday at the NCAA East Preliminary Round.  Lydia Wehrli (Anieres, Switzerland) made her third straight appearance at the NCAA Preliminaries in the women's hammer throw and capped her Manhattan career with a 24th-place showing at the University of North Florida's Hodges Stadium.

Seeded 25th out of 48 entrants, Wehrli was in the second of three flights.  Her best effort came on her first attempt, when she got out to a distance of 55.25 meters (181 feet, three inches).  That mark temporarily put her into a top-12 qualifying position, but she was passed by 12 competitors in the final flight and ended up 24th overall.

Wehrli, who holds the school record in the event, improved on last year's 34th-place showing.  In 2013, she finished 15th.
