Despite not having an individual event winner, the women did get a solid performance from MaryLynn McMahon who broke the school record for 1 meter diving. The senior earned 153.65 total points, breaking the ten year old mark of Kelly Duran's 140.85 points in 2002. Manhattan also saw top-5 finishes in the 200 yard Individual Medley from both Kerry Schuermann and Paige Raccioppi. Those two would also combine with Brianne Grant and Melanie Tam for a second place finish in the 200 yard medley relay.
On the men's side, the Jaspers got a key victory from Robert Varieur in the 100 free (49.12 seconds), who also anchored the 200 yard freestyle relay with Ryan Klages, Mike Scire, and Dallan Treanor. Although Manhattan was behind against the Peacocks, they were locked in a tight battle with Montclair State going into the final two events. Both Mike Mackay and Dennis Daly gave superb efforts in the 100 yard breaststroke that helped clinch the victory. James Kelly also competed well in the diving events earning scores of 126.90 and 154.75 points.
