RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Matt Creamer shot a one-over 72 on day two of the Central Connecticut State Blue Devil Fall Invitational on Sunday to place fourth out of 60 golfers in the tournament. His tournament score of 143 was the second lowest two day total and set a new Manhattan College record for a Non-MAAC tournament performance. The old record of 148 was originally set in 2001 by then freshman Thomas Aquinas and tied by then freshman, and current teammate, Paul Toohey last year at CCSU Invitational.

Creamer helped to lead the way for the Jaspers who finished sixth in the 12 team field. He and his five teammates shot a combined 601 including a new school record 296 on day two. That record breaks the old mark of 297 for a non-conference one round team score set last season at the same tournament.

Robert Kehoe rebounded nicely from his opening day 79 to shoot a personal best 71-even par on Sunday to finish with a 150 combined score. Sophomore Chris Calabro also improved his Saturday mark of 80 to finish day two with a two-over 73. Pat Bibaud completed the tournament with a 155 combined mark after posting an 80 in his second round. Finally, Paul Toohey shot an 84, one stroke better than his round one performance, to end the tournament with a score of 169. Both Calabro, and Toohey were on last year's team that tied the school mark for single day team performance.

The Jaspers finished sixth out of 12 teams in a tournament that was won by Laval University (572). Central Connecticut State, Sacred Heart, URI, and George Washington all finished ahead of Manhattan.
