Edison, N.J. -- A total 12 Manhattan College women's track and field athletes and 10 men's track and field athletes are among 78 women and 52 men named to the 2010 MAAC Indoor Track All-Academic Teams, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference announced today.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. 

On the women's side, Marist College led all schools with 24 members named to the team.  Loyola University added 16 student-athletes.  Iona College and Manhattan College both had 12 members.  Saint Peter's added eight student-athletes, while Rider University rounded out the team with six athletes.  On the men's side, Marist College led all schools with 23 members named to the team.  Iona College and Manhattan College both added 10 student-athletes.  Rider University had six members, and Saint Peter's College rounded out the team with three athletes.
