RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Manhattan returns to Draddy Gymnasium for the first time in 37 days when the Jaspers host Rider on Monday at 7 p.m. Fans can watch and listen to all the action live from Riverdale at GoJaspers.com.
Manhattan (6-7, 1-2 MAAC) and Rider (8-7, 1-2 MAAC) meet for the 34th time in series history. The Jaspers have won six of their last seven meetings versus the Broncs at Draddy Gymnasium. Their last time out on Feb. 15, 2009 Manhattan guard Patrick Bouli drained his third 3-pointer of the contest with 50 seconds remaining to help secure a 73-68 triumph on Senior Day. Manhattan tied the game for the 12th time at 68-68 on Darryl Crawford's 3-pointer with 1:38 remaining, and then proceeded to score the next five points to close the contest. Crawford exploded for a game-high 26 points and Chris Smith recorded a double-double (12 points, 11 rebounds) to snap a four game skid versus the Broncs. Manhattan shot 47.2% (25-53) from the field and 54.5% (6-11) beyond the arc. Laurence Jolicoeur gave the Jaspers 11 points on 5-for-7 shooting off the bench.
