RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Manhattan returns to Draddy Gymnasium on Saturday for a 2 p.m. showdown with Canisius (8-9, 3-3 MAAC). Fans can watch all the action live at GoJaspers.com.
Manhattan (7-9, 2-4 MAAC) has won the last five meetings with Canisius, including a 71-57 victory their last time out on Dec. 6, 2009 in Buffalo. Junior guard Rico Pickett led the charge with 21 points, while Darryl Crawford contributed 17 points in the second half en route to the Jaspers first conference victory of the season. Manhattan shot 50.8% (31-61) in the contest.
The Jaspers have won five straight games against Canisius, and 14 of their last 16 meetings. Manhattan has defeated the Golden Griffs 11 of the last 12 contests at Draddy Gymnasium.
