With junior Nicholas LaBanca the low medalist, the Manhattan College golf team finished 20th this weekend at the Lafayette Invitational held at the par72, 6916 Center Valley Country Club in Easton, Penn.
The Jasper linksmen had a two-round team score of 680 (344/336). LaBanca led the way with an 83/78 for a 161. He finished 53rd overall.
Additional scorers for Manhattan were: Louis Perry (86/83=169); Adam Minbiole (89/88=177); Pat Bibaud (92/87=179) and Steven Rentz (86/99=185). Perry finished 93rd overall; Minbiole tied for 102nd overall; Bibaud was 105th and Rentz 106th.
Lehigh University won the tournament with a team score of 592; Villanova was second a 607.
