RIVERDALE, N.Y. ? The Manhattan men's basketball team carries a two game win streak into Monday's showdown with local MAAC rival Iona (11-13, 6-7 MAAC) at Draddy Gymnasium. The contest is the second game of a doubleheader with the Lady Jaspers, and both games will be televised live on Madison Square Garden Network. The Manhattan women's contest tips off at 6 p.m. and the men's at approximately 8 p.m.
Manhattan (13-10, 7-6 MAAC) has won three of its last four contests since its first regular-season meeting with the Gaels on Jan. 24 at Madison Square Garden. The Jaspers are coming off a 72-65 victory at Loyola on Saturday night. Sophomore guard Chris Smith recorded game highs with 19 points and nine rebounds, while classmate Laurence Jolicoeur scored 17 and grabbed eight boards.
