RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Manhattan returns to the hardwood on Wednesday when the Jaspers travel to Nashville, Tenn. for a meeting with Vanderbilt (8-3). Fans can listen to all the action live from historic Memorial Gymnasium at GoJaspers.com. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.

Manhattan (6-5, 1-1 MAAC) is coming off an 11 day break since its 71-61 win on Dec. 19 at Long Island. The Jaspers and Commodores meet for just the second time in program history, and the first time since Dec. 28, 1982 in the Music City Invitational Championship game. Vanderbilt defeated Manhattan 85-71 to snap the Jaspers' eight game winning streak under head coach Gordon Chiesa. It was the second best start to a season in Manhattan men's basketball history.

Vanderbilt has yet to lose at home this season as the Commodores sport a unblemished 5-0 mark in Memorial Gymnasium. It is the Jaspers first meeting with a Southeastern Conference member since March 18, 2004 when Manhattan used a game-high 26 points from Luis Flores '04 and a double-double from Dave Holmes '04 (12 pts, 12 reb) en route to a 75-60 victory over Florida in the NCAA Tournament First Round. Manhattan is 3-2 in the last five games with the 12 current members of the SEC.
