RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan men's basketball team gears up for the 102nd "Battle of the Bronx" on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Draddy Gymnasium. The Jaspers are looking for their third straight victory. Manhattan is coming off back-to-back wins over Florida Atlantic (Nov. 23) and at American University (Nov. 25). The Jaspers hold a 52-49 record all-time against Fordham. Last season, Manhattan ran off with a 81-69 victory over the Rams at Rose Hill Gym. Jaspers' guard Darryl Crawford exploded for 17 points and a team-high seven rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench. For his tremendous effort, Crawford was named the game's Most Valuable Player and he was awarded the Mike Cohen Award.
