RIVERDALE, N.Y. ? The Manhattan men's basketball team begins its longest home stretch of the season on Friday evening when the squad hosts Marist (6-10, 2-2 MAAC). The contest is part two of a doubleheader with the Lady Jaspers who square off with Canisius at 5 p.m. at Draddy Gymnasium.
Manhattan (8-6, 2-2 MAAC) enters its contest with the Red Foxes coming off a thrilling 59-57 victory at Canisius on Monday. The Jaspers held Canisius scoreless over the final 3:17, while they mounted a 9-0 comeback run to close the game. Junior guard Darryl Crawford scored four points, all in the final minute, including the game winning basket with five seconds remaining.
The Jaspers continue their four game home series versus Siena on Sunday afternoon. Tip off is immediately following the Manhattan women's basketball game versus Rider at 2 p.m.
