RIVERDALE, N.Y. ?  The 2008 MAAC Basketball Championships are underway, and the Manhattan men's basketball team is prepared for its First Round matchup with #9 Saint Peter's (6-23, 3-15) on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. The Jaspers enter the tournament as the #8 seed as the squad looks to make a run for the program's fourth MAAC crown.

Manhattan's (11-18, 5-13) opening round contest will air on tape delay on MSG at approximately 1 a.m. It can also be heard live right here at GoJaspers.com as Manhattan announcers Ed Cohen and Brian Mahoney will have the call. Jasper fans can also catch the radio broadcast on Sirius Satellite Radio channel 140 or watch the live web stream at MAACSports.com. The individual game fee is $6.95, or fans can purchase the Tournament Package, with the exception of Monday's ESPN2 Championship bout, for $24.95.
