The second quarter was all Sacred Heart as they scored four goals in the quarter.  Will Coursen opened up the period with a goal with 12:34 left to play before the break.  But the Pioneer finished strong scoring a goal within the final minute before the half.  At halftime, Sacred Heart led 6-4.

In the third period, Spatarella's second goal came on a man up opportunity but the Pioneers scored six times.  Manhattan could not pull any closer as they trailed, 12-5.  Spatarella's third goal in the fourth quarter was all the Jaspers could muster up as they fell to their Connecticut opponent.
