Manhattan has won 10 of its last 11 meetings with Canisius at Draddy Gymnasium. Canisius guard Frank Turner managed a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists. Devon Austin led the Jaspers with 17 points and eight rebounds.
Canisius enters today's contest having lost nine of its last 11 games. The Golden Griffins stand 2-11 in MAAC play with both wins coming over the past month. On Jan. 18, Canisius ran off with a 70-62 victory over cross-town rival Niagara at Koessler Arena. Then on Feb. 1, the Golden Griffins cruised to a 88-60 victory over Fairfield. Canisius stands winless on the road this season. The Golden Griffins have lost its last 16 road games.
The Jaspers look to rebound from a 66-61 loss to Fairfield on Friday evening at Draddy Gymnasium and snap an eight game losing streak. Manhattan surrendered a 12 point second half advantage leading to its 11th loss in the last 12 games. The Jaspers are still looking for the first win at Draddy Gymnasium of 2008.

The Jaspers return to action at Draddy Gymnasium on Friday evening for its contest with Marist which is televised on ESPNU. Manhattan lost a hard fought battle with the Red Foxes on Jan. 7 falling 76-66 at the McCann Center. Red-shirt freshman Laurence Jolicoeur went off for 17 points and knocked down all nine free throw attempts in the losing effort. Manhattan wraps up its final home stretch of the 2007-08 campaign with Siena (Feb. 18) and Binghamton (Feb. 23). The Jaspers contest with Siena will be televised live on SportsNet New York.
