Today's Game: The Lady Jaspers will take on the Loyola College Greyhounds in their second of two meetings this season. This will mark 38th time these two programs will meet. The Lady J's hold the advantage in the all-time series, leading 21-16. Their most recent victory came earlier this year as Manhattan beat the Greyhounds in Maryland, 68-59. Caitlin Flood led all scorers that game with 19 points, grabbing seven boards as well. Flood is averaging 11.0 points and 5.7 rebounds per game against Loyola in her career. Even though Manhattan has the lead in the all-time series, Loyola has won the last five of seven meetings between the two.

From Down Town: Manhattan is currently 2nd in the MAAC in three point shooting percentage as they are shooting an outstanding .379 from behind the arc. Senior Aubrie Dellinger is currently 2nd in the conference in three point percentage and 11th in the NCAA with a 44.1%. Fellow senior Gabrielle Cottrell is 6th on that list with a .415 percentage and 27th in the nation. Manhattan is ranked 18 in the NCAA with a 37.9% three point field goal percentage as a team.

Playing Some "D": Last season, Manhattan was tied for fifth, with Fairfield, in the conference in scoring defense, giving up only 62.7 ppg. The Lady Jaspers this year are 3rd in the MAAC Conference for steals. The team is averaging 8.59 steals per game.

History Vs. Loyola: The Lady Jaspers are 21-16 against the Greyhounds all-time. This will mark the 38th time these two programs will meet each other, with Manhattan looking to complete the sweep against them as they won an earlier contest this season at Loyola.

History vs. MAAC: The Lady J's have 196-206 record while playing MAAC opponents. Last season they lost a second round game to MAAC Champion Marist College, 55-42. Manhattan finished 7-11 last year in conference play and is currently 5-1 this season.

Last Time Out: The Lady Jaspers completed the sweep of another one of their MAAC opponents, beating Rider in Lawrenceville, 82-49. The offense was in full force as six Lady Jaspers scored in double figures. Every Manhattan player that got in the game scored a point in their highest point total this season and largest margin of victory.

On the Horizon: With MAAC play in full swing, Manhattan will return to action on Sunday, February 10 where they will travel to take on Fairfield University. The Lady Jaspers trail the Stags 31-33 in the all-time series coming into their 64th meeting. Manhattan has been on the winning side in the last three out of four matchups, with their most recent win coming early last season. Gabrielle Cottrell has 16 points in that victory as five Lady Jaspers were in double figures that game. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
