The Lady Jaspers will take on top seeded Marist College today in conference play. Marist is currently ranked #23 in the ESPN/USA Today poll. This contest will mark the 35th time these two programs will meet. Mahattan leads the all-time series, 21-13. Marist has the most recent win as they narrowly escaped with a 61-59 victory at Draddy Gymnasium in January. Marist has won the last nine consecutive contests against Manhattan. The Lady Jaspers last win came in the 2003-04 season. Before the nine game skid, the Lady J's took the previous 15 contests from the Red Foxes, their longest winning streak against any MAAC team.

Best Start Ever:
For the first time in the programs history, the Lady Jaspers came out to a perfect 4-0 in conference play. Since the start of the program in 1978, no Lady jaspers basketball team had won their first four conference games. The best conference start previous to this teams' is 3-1 by the 2003-04 Lady J's.
Flood Warning: Senior Caitlin Flood has scored a total 1,323 points in her career. She has jumped to the 5th all-time scorer for Manhattan. Flood passed the career milestone in a 76-51 win over Howard University in the Brown University Tournament. Flood is the first Lady Jasper to join the 1,000 point club since Rosalee Mason did it in 2004 and the 16th in Manhattan College Women's Basketball history. History Vs. Marist:
History vs. MAAC: The Lady J's have a 197-209 record while playing MAAC opponents. Last season they lost a second round game to MAAC Champion, Marist College 42-55. Manhattan finished 7-11 last year in conference play and is currently 9-6. Record on the road:

The Lady Jaspers have been perect from the free throw in two consecutive games this year. They have hit 28 consecutive tfree throws going 19-19 against Fairfield and 9-9 against Iona. The streak came to end against Niagara, but not before the Lady J's hit 31 consecuvtive free throws.

Coming down the home stretch of the MAAC season, the Lady Jaspers will play their last home game against Fairfield University on Wednesday, February 27 at 7:00 p.m. This game is the rescheduled game after the first contest was postponed due to inclement weather. It will mark the 66th meeting between the two programs. Fairfield holds a slight advantage in the all-time series, 34-31.
