RIVERDALE, N.Y. ? The Manhattan men's basketball team welcomes Canisius (3-3) to Draddy Gymnasium tomorrow evening marking the Jaspers' MAAC opener. Tip off is slated for 7 p.m. and is the second game of a doubleheader with the Lady Jaspers. Manhattan (3-2) began the 2008-09 campaign with three consecutive wins, but is now looking to snap a two game losing skid. The Jaspers previous two losses were decided by six total points. Manhattan has defeated Canisius in 10 of their previous 11 meetings at Draddy Gymnasium.
Prior to the contest, senior forward Devon Austin will be honored for scoring his 1,000th career point on Saturday versus Hofstra. Austin became the 29th player in Manhattan College men's basketball history to reach this landmark.
