Riverdale, N.Y. - Paced by a first place finish by sophomore Jelena Rankovic, the Manhattan College women's cross country meet took a dual meet over Iona College Tuesday afternoon by a score of 27-29. Rankovic ran the 3K Van Cortlandt Park course in 10:41 to finish two seconds ahead of Iona's Kristen Peluso.

Other Lady Jaspers scoring in the winning effort were:  junior Mary Consiglio, who placed fourth overall in 10:54; senior Ellen Dobbin, who finished fifth overall in 10:57; freshman Maria Jangsten, who came in sixth overall in 11:01 and junior Angela Bernarde, who finished 11^th in 11:18.
