The Knights then broke the game open with back-to-back homeruns, a two-run shot from Glidden, and a solo homerun from Caitlyn Reuter to make the score 7-0. FDU would end the game three batters later when Doherty drove in her second run of the game.
Buchanan scattered four hits over six innings of work, striking out two and walking two, while earning her fourth win of the season.
