GOLF TEAM AND SAINT PETER?S FINISH UP ALL SQUARE IN MATCH PLAY

Bronxville, N.Y. (April 11, 2007)?Manhattan and Saint Peter's played to a draw in match play at the 6481 yard, par-71 Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, N.Y. which hosted the first PGA Championship in 1916. Each team selected six golfers to go head-to-head in match play, with each team winning three matches. Two playoff holes were then unable to resolve the match.

For Manhattan, James Marchewka defeated Ryan Jasinski 1 up, Scott Burton defeated Mike Reilly 1 up, and Steven Rentz defeated John Wallace 3 and 2. While Saint Peter's Chris Merce defeated George Calvi 4 and 3, Tom Dyer knocked off Nick LaBanca 1 up, and Lou Adimondo beat Brian Burns 5 and 4.

With the match all square after the six singles matches, Calvi and Merce squared in a one hole, sudden death playoff, with the hole coming away all square. The second playoff hole, a par-3 between Marchewka and Jasinski finished all square as well, ending the overall match in a draw.

The Jaspers return to the links this weekend for the Lafayette Spring Golf Classic in Easton, Pa.
