(December 8, 2007)- The Manhattan College men's basketball team looks to carry the momentum of its buzzer-beater win over Saint Peter's College, as the Jaspers continue MAAC play with a road tilt at Loyola College on Sunday, December 9. Manhattan and the Greyhounds will tip-off from the Reitz Arena on Loyola's Baltimore, Md. campus at 12 noon.

The Jaspers continue MAAC play, traveling to Baltimore, Md. to take on the Loyola College Greyhounds on Sunday, December 9. Manhattan leads the all-time series, 29-13, and has won five of the last six games and 15 of the last 17. Last season, the two programs split the season series, with Loyola taking a 77-58 decision in Riverdale, and the Jaspers returning the favor with a 70-68 win.

Manhattan is in its 102nd season of men's basketball. The Jaspers' overall record is 1208-1042 (.537), while the team has posted a 202-202 (.500) record over 26-plus seasons of MAAC play. The men's basketball program was established in 1904-05 and has taken two seasons off (1943-44 and 1944-45) due to World War II. In 55 of the program's 101-plus seasons, including the four of the last six seasons, the Jaspers have posted a .500 or better record. Manhattan's 200 MAAC wins makes them just the second MAAC team to reach 200 wins in conference, joining Iona College.
