JOTANOVIC ADVANCES TO FINAL ROUND AT NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS

Sacramento, CA (June 9, 2005)- Freshman Milan Jotanovic competed in his first NCAA Championships yesterday at Sacramento State in Sacramento, CA. Jotanovic went into the Shot Put competition ranked 13th in the NCAA. After his throw of 18.30m he qualified for the final round placing seventh overall. Auburn's Edis Elkasevic is ranked first going into the finals after his toss of 19.71m.

Juniors Michael Freeman and Anders Constantin also competed yesterday in the Hammer Throw Preliminaries. Constantin, who was ranked 25th entering the competition, captured 22nd place with his throw of 59.91m. Freeman finished 26th with his throw of 56.96m.

Jotanovic will compete in the finals tomorrow Friday, June 10 at 11:15 p.m. Eastern and 8:15 p.m. Pacific.
