GOLF MAINTAINS EIGHTH PLACE AFTER ROUND 2 OF MAAC CHAMPIONSHIPS

DAY FULL 2 RESULTS



Orlando, FL (April 23, 2005)- George Calvi carded a team-best round of 79 to help Manhattan solidify its hold on eighth place after two rounds at the jetBlue MAAC Golf Championships, held at the par-72, 6861-yard Magnolia Golf Course at Walt Disney World. The Jaspers posted a second round team score of 336.

Tim Hand continues to pace the Jaspers on the leader board, as he is currently in a tie for 31st after carding a second round score of 84. Calvi's round moved him into a tie for 36th, while tallied a round of 84 and is currently in 39th place. Danny Sirico finished the day in 41st place after a second round 89, and Scott Burton rounded out the Manhattan quintet with a round of 99, placing him in 43rd place.

Loyola and Siena are tied for the team lead after two rounds, as each team has tallied a two-day team total of 583.

The three day event will conclude tomorrow with 6:52 a.m. tee times.
