Bethany Beach, DE (April 11, 2005)- The Manhattan Golf team placed 11th at the one-day, 36-hole Bethany Beach Invitational, held Monday at the par-72, 6,834-yard Bear Trap Dunes GC. Tim Hand paced the Jaspers with a tied for 32nd place finish.
Hand's two round total of 165 (82-83) led the way for Manhattan, as his opening round 82 was the low Jasper round for the Invitational. Danny Sirico (83-83-169) placed in a tie for 36th, James Marchewka (86-85-171) placed in a tie for 48th, Chris Vieau (91-88-179) placed in a tie for 55th, and Scott Burton (93-91-184) placed in a tie for 58th.
The team returns to action on Thursday, April 14, when they take on Saint Peter's in West Orange, NJ at 2:00 p.m.
