Brookline, MA (October 8, 2004)- Playing with a shorthanded squad due to injuries, the golf team was defeated by Boston University, 322-351, Friday at the 6,307-yard, par 71 Putterham Meadows Golf Course. Freshman
Scott Burton led the way the Jaspers, carding a round of 82.
Burton's round placed him fifth.
Corey Barringer placed sixth with a round of 84, while
Chris Vieau carded an 85, good for a tie for seventh.
Mike Goll placed 10th with a round of 100.
The Terrier's Nick Kostis took home medalist honors after posting a round of 79.
The Jaspers return to the links on Tuesday, October 12, when they take on Yeshiva University at 1:00 p.m. in Port Washington, NY.
