Lawrenceville, NJ (October 15, 2004)- Rider scored the game-winning goal with just 1:05 to play to snap a 1-1 tie as the Broncs defeated the Jaspers, 2-1, today in a MAAC contest. Brian Lundy tallied Manhattan's only goal, his third of the season, giving him a goal in two straight games.

Rider took the early lead, as Tim Jones headed the ball past Manhattan goalkeeper Collin Leaver at the 12:09 mark.

Manhattan evened the score in the 37th minute when Lundy scored from 15 yards out off a pass from Adrian Gubbay.

Manhattan outshot Rider, 14-13, and forced Bronc goalkeeper Daniel Riverso to make four saves, all at point-blank-range, but could not connect on the equalizer.

Leaver posted three saves in net for the Jaspers, who continue MAAC play on Sunday, October 17, when they conlude their seven game road trip at Loyola. The game is slated to begin at 1:00 p.m.
