MEN'S RESULTSWOMEN'S RESULTSRiverdale, NY (October 15, 2004)- The Manhattan College men's and women's cross country teams swept a dual meet against Iona College today at Van Cortlandt Park. Manhattan runners crossed the line first in both races, as Tyler Raymond won the men's race, while Eryka Perreault broke the tape first in the women's race.
On the men's side, Raymond placed first in the 5050-meter race in a time of 15:58.6. The Jaspers took home spots one through four, and five of the top seven en route to the 17-39 win.
On the women's side, Perreault completed the 3000-meter course with a winning time of 10:55.3 as the Lady Jaspers took home three of the top five spots for the 21-40 win. Manhattan's scoring seven all crossed the line before Iona's third runner.
Both teams return on action on Saturday, October 30, in Orlando Florida, as both teams compete at the MAAC Championships. The first race is slated for 10:00 a.m.
