Garden City, NY (September 21, 2003)- Adelphi scored just 1:33 into the game and held Manhattan to just three shots in a 3-0 shutout win today at Stiles Field. The Jaspers fall to 1-5 on the season.
The Panthers scored during the 19th minute and then again with just over 17 minutes to play as they outshot Manhattan 33-3, while holding a 13-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Antonio Treglia tallied seven saves for the Jaspers while Tom Cunningham made one save for his first shutout of the season.
Manhattan is back in action on Wednesday, September 24, when the Jaspers travel to Lexington, VA to take on Virginia Military Institute at 4:00 p.m.
