Former Manhattan College men's lacrosse player Tim Clancy returned to the program as an assistant coach in 2010.  A 2007 Manhattan graduate, Clancy was a four-year letterwinner for the Jaspers and served as team captain during his senior season.

Clancy played 45 games as a defender for the Jaspers.  He collected 57 career ground balls and was part of a defensive unit that ranked 24th in the nation in 2006.  Clancy scored his only career goal in his final collegiate game, a 13-6 win over Canisius on April 28, 2007.  He was named team MVP and earned an All-MAAC selection that season.  In addition, the Jaspers qualified for the MAAC Tournament twice during his career, including an appearance in the 2004 MAAC Championship Game.

A native of Floral Park, N.Y., Clancy attended Floral Park High School, where he was captain of the football, basketball and lacrosse teams.  Clancy twice earned All-Nassau County honors in lacrosse. 

He is currently pursuing a master's degree in school counseling and resides in the Bronx.
